DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Attoyac Bayou Near Chireno affecting Rusk, Nacogdoches, San Augustine and Shelby Counties. For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Attoyac Bayou near Chireno. * WHEN...Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding for the next several days of the heavily wooded floodplain. Ranchers that have cattle and equipment near the river should move them to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Sunday was 14.4 feet. - Forecast...The Attoyac Bayou near Chierno is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue a slow fall through midweek. However, additional rises are possible thereafter as heavy rain is expected across the basin. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.5 feet on 12/19/2015. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
INSTRUCTION: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Similar to cirrocumulus clouds, altocumulus clouds are
characterized by cloud patches. They are distinguished by larger cloudlets
than cirrocumulus clouds but are still smaller than stratocumulus clouds.
Altocumulus clouds most commonly form in middle altitudes (between 2 and 5 km)
and may resemble, at times, the shape of a flying saucer.
These uncommon formations, called altocumulus lenticularis, are created by uplift
in the atmosphere and are most often seen in close proximity to mountains.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
