Tiffin River at Stryker affecting Williams, Fulton OH and Defiance Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Ohio... Indiana... Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting De Kalb, Allen IN and Defiance Counties. .Recent rainfall across the SMaumee Basin has resulted in rising waters. For the Saint Joseph River Ohio...including Montpelier, Newville... Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, County Road K, one mile southwest of Montpelier is flooded. Flood waters affect the southeast side of Pioneer and cover large areas of low land and agricultural land near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2 feet early Friday afternoon. A hole punch cloud is an unusual occurrence when a disk-shaped
hole appears in a cirrostratus, cirrocumulus, or altocumulus cloud.
When part of the cloud forms ice crystals, water droplets in the surrounding area
of the cloud evaporate. The effect of this process produces a large elliptical
gap in the cloud. The hole punch cloud formation is rare, but it is not specific
to any geographic area.
Other names which have been used to describe this phenomena include fallstreak hole,
skypunch, and cloud hole.

A nimbostratus cloud is similar to a stratus cloud in its formless,
smooth appearance. However, a nimbostratus cloud is darker than a stratus cloud,
because it is thicker.
Unlike a stratus cloud, a nimbostratus cloud typically brings with it the threat
of moderate to heavy precipitation. In some cases, the precipitation may evaporate
before reaching the ground, a phenomenon known as virga.
